VIRDEN - Mrs. Myrtle Taff, formerly of Virden, died at Mount Olive where she had been living recently with a daughter at 5:15 p.m. Thursday. She was 77 years old.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Algeria Kogen, of Chicago; and Mrs. Betty Rimini and Mrs. Anna Mae Scheldt, both of Mount Olive; and three sons, George Barker, of New Berlin and James Barker, of San Antonio, Tex.; and Lorris Tolliver, of New Berlin. There are 38 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She also leaves a brother, Clarence Westfall, of Divernon; and two sisters; Mrs. Vera McKinney, of Denver, Colo.; and Mrs. Lena Parks, of Springfield.
Funeral services were at the Berry Funeral Home in Virden.
Burial was in Virden Cemetery.
