Facts and Events
Name Anna Walsh
Religious Name[4] Sister Mary Lidwina _____
Gender Female
Birth[4] 25 Dec 1881 Rathkeale, County Limerick, Republic of Ireland
Death? 8 Oct 1969 Bronx, New York, United States

Anna came to the USA and devoted her life to the Ursline Nuns, at Mount St. Ursla, Bedford Park, Bronx. She joined them in 10/31/1903 as Sister Lidwina and was laid to rest in St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx, NY. on 10/08/1969,Sect. 6 Range 17. Sister Lidwina was the only name I knew her by, and as a child she would let my brothers and I have the un-consecrated communion waffers as a treat. Several photos where discovered in Sister Lidwina's file, one in about the 1930's with her and a man, women and child, standing in front of a car, with the comment "Jimmy, Dot, Dot" and the other one was most likely in the 1960's, she is standing next to a young man in a military uniform.[2][3]

Note that this tree is likely mistaken in saying that Delia (whose mother was a Johanna Ahern) was her sister. There is no record of a Delia Walsh born about 1881 in County Limerick, and her birth date (if accurate) is too close to that of Anna's (if accurate). Thus, the tree is likely incorrect also in saying that Anna's mother was Johanna Ahern.
