Facts and Events
Anna came to the USA and devoted her life to the Ursline Nuns, at Mount St. Ursla, Bedford Park, Bronx. She joined them in 10/31/1903 as Sister Lidwina and was laid to rest in St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx, NY. on 10/08/1969,Sect. 6 Range 17. Sister Lidwina was the only name I knew her by, and as a child she would let my brothers and I have the un-consecrated communion waffers as a treat. Several photos where discovered in Sister Lidwina's file, one in about the 1930's with her and a man, women and child, standing in front of a car, with the comment "Jimmy, Dot, Dot" and the other one was most likely in the 1960's, she is standing next to a young man in a military uniform.[2][3] References
