Anna G. "Gerry" (Tullis) Hovey HOVEY, ANNA G. 'GERRY' (TULLIS), 75, of Burgoyne Drive, Warwick, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the sweetheart and beloved wife of David J. Hovey, Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Hovey were married for 54 years. Born in Stanberry, Missouri, a daughter of the late Earle and Sarah Zoe (Ficklin) Tullis, she lived in Warwick since 1958, and also maintained a home in Yarmouthport, MA. Mrs. Hovey was affiliated with L.M. Hovey & Son in Providence for 37 years, and served as president of the company for the last 11 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Anita K. Hovey of Warwick; a son, David J. Hovey, Jr. of Glocester; two sisters, Dorothy LaJoie and Catherine Talmadge, both of Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Earl Tullis of St. Joseph, MO and Billy Tullis of Corning, IA; and three grandchildren, Jesse, Jaimie, and Joia. She was the sister of the late Richard Tullis. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, at 11 a.m. in the Peter J. Barrett Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
