Church books for Västra Husby (AI:11 1826 - 1831) page 262 Önstorp list Anna Stina as "oakta" (illegitimate). This is the first record after her mother, Anna Sofia Svensdotter, married Nils Nilsson. After the death of her mother, Anna Stina moved out of her step-father's house, to Gädderstad farmstead, where she is listed by the name Anna Stina Hansdotter. In October 1858, she married Eric Jonson. A few years later her niece, Maria Carolina is living with her and listed as "foster daughter". When she goes to work on her own, Maria uses the surname (after name) Ericsdotter.
