Anna Cecilia Rochester

Anna Cecilia Rochester, 89, formerly of 210 Wentz St., Tiffin, died at 11: 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004, at St. Francis Home in Tiffin OH.

She was born Nov. 19, 1914, in Bascom OH, to the late Leander and Elizabe th (Gase) Strausbaugh. Survivors include: six sons, Richard (Shirley) Rochester of rural Tiffi n, James Rochester of Fostoria, Ronald (Elizabeth) Rochester, David Roches ter, Thomas (Bonita) Rochester, and Joseph (Karen) Rochester, all of Tiffi n; two daughters, Marjorie Conner of Tiffin and Judith (Edward) Row of Bet tsville; 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lil lian Zimmerman of Gibsonburg OH, and Clara (James) Zirger of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Mary Pat Rocheste r; a brother, John Strausbaugh; a sister, Hilda Strausbaugh; a grandson, P aul Row; and two great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Carrie Lynn Rochester.

Mrs. Rochester was a homemaker and she also worked at General Electr ic in Tiffin from 1953-1980. She received her GED in 1985 at age 71.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin; General Electric R etirees; and the Seneca Rose Grandmother's Club.

A Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at St. Mary Cathol ic Church in Tiffin OH, with the Rev. David M Ross officiating. The Rosa ry will be recited 15 minutes prior to the funeral Mass. Burial wi ll be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hannay-Traunero Funer al Home, 214 S Monroe St., Tiffin OH 44883; (419) 447-3113.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis Chiara Cent er or to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Hannay-Traunero Funer al Home.
