Anna V. Yurkovic, 89, of Clarview Nursing Home in Sligo, formerly of Rimersburg and Bradys Bend, died early Friday morning, July 28, 2000, at Clarion Hospital.
Born July 26, 1911, in Roseville, Armstrong County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Spudic.
Mrs. Yurkovic was a home maker.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Clarion.
She was married June 16, 1928, to George Yurkovic, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by four chil dren, Victor G. Yurkovic and his wife, Phylis, of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Leo J. (Kathryn H.) Curran of Knox, Mrs. Thomas L. (Helen A.) Smith of Texas, and Mrs. David (Barbara R.) Burr of New Jersey; three sisters, Mildred McNaughton of Rimersburg, Rose Seigworth of Knox and Dorothy Katch of Coraopolis; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Paul, Frank and John Spudic; two sisters, Mary Wiencek and Aman da Spudic; and a grandson, Bill Curran.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, Clarion.
A Christian wake service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Im maculate Conception Church with the Rev. Frank Przepierski, church pastor, as the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the cemetery of St. Mary Catholic Church, Bradys Bend.
