Anna Catharina emigrates Apr 5, 1872 to North America. As a result of the very bad economic conditions at the end of the 19th century in Flanders several inhabitants emigrate to the USA to build a new existence. Several members of the Fijnaut family also went to the USA as will become clear in the following pages. Families emigrated mostly together with other families as will become clear hereafter.
