Listed on Simmendinger Register in 1717 in Neu Stuttgardt New York. One of the Palatines of 1710.

The maiden name BERN was found on an FGS by Joseph Meiser and Sarah Meiser. It should be noted that other sources list the name as STERF. During 1713/14 she was on the list of poor people who were given aid by the government. Her family lived at Livingston Manor, NY in 1710/11 and then to Scoharie Valley, NY prior to migrating to the Tulpehocken, Berks Co., near Stouchsburg, PA in 1723.
