As was the case with most of these early Wabash County, Indiana, pioneers, Anna was probably not born in "Bavaria", but actually in the Palatinate. An example is her aunt Catherine, who we know was born in the tiny Palatine village of WALDGREHWEILER. Many of the early Urbana pioneers were born in Waldgrehweiler, on in surrounding villages. Geibel, Henry, Glasser, Schroeder, Brand, Baumbauer, Hipskind, Miller, Pretorius, Regula, Maurer, Hildebrand, Fetzer, etc.
