  2.   Source:Otis, Amos. Genealogical Notes of Barnstable Families, p. 29, shows Anna's birth b. 16 Mar 1688-9, which is contradicted by the records. Otis' data leaves only 10 months between Anna and Mercy. If Sarah died young, as Otis supposes, it is more likely that the gap between Sarah and Anna is the small one, rather than between Anna and Mercy, two children that survived. Thus, the records appear correct.
