    Possibly born in Yorkshire, England, married about 1660 to Captain Daniel Brodhead who took over the Army Garrison at Kingston, Ulster county, NY in 1664 when Britain took control of the former Dutch colony. Ann had sons probably in England and joined her husband in Kingston shortly before his death in the summer of 1667. The young widow Brodhead married about 1670 William Nottingham in Kingston.
