Ann Swallow was baptised on 18th September 1842 at Wheathampstead in Hertfordshire, daughter of a straw plaiter named Elizabeth Swallow, formerly Catline, and her husband William Swallow, an agricultural labourer. She has yet to be researched after her baptism.
