Ann Jardine was baptised at Lady Huntingdon's Chapel in Spa Fields , London as were her sisters Sarah Harriet and Mary. The family were most likely dissenters - eg. not Anglican . 1841-The census has Ann aged 25 , a Brace Maker , living with Hector JARDIN her father and his 2nd wife Elizabeth and family in Pounds Passage , Finsbury London . All of the family were noted as being born in that County Pounds Passage is an address known to us from the Birth record of Richard ELLIS in 1841, a grandson of Hector JARDINE and son of James and Sarah Harriet Ellis. 1847-On her Death Certificate , it was stated that Ann died from Rheumatism at an address in Seward St - her older sister Sarah [ Harriet ] Ellis n. Jardine was witness to the death and put a X for her mark on the certificate . Sarah Ellis had or was also resident in Seward St according to info from a Birth Cert of one of her chn. Ann was 32y according to the death certificate. Lady Huntingdon's Connexion was considered to be "non-conformist", as were a great many Protestant denominations in the late 18th century. The various groups eventually merged so that now there are a smaller number of denominations outside the Church of England. Lady Huntingdon's Connexion traces forward into the Congregationalists or the United Reformed Church. References
