Lady Huntingdon's Connexion was considered to be "non-conformist", as were a great many Protestant denominations in the late 18th century. The various groups eventually merged so that now there are a smaller number of denominations outside the Church of England. Lady Huntingdon's Connexion traces forward into the Congregationalists or the United Reformed Church.
