Daniel R.   Samuel Hopkins, (1734-1813), was captain of the first company of militia and served on important committees. He was born in West Greenwich, R.I. where he died.
  Joseph Knight, (1741-1824), was captain of minute men at the Lexington Alarm. He served as recruiting officer and was at Warwick with his troops, 1777. His grave at Scituate has been marked by the Sons of the American Revolution.
  Jonathan Lillibridge, (1751-1848), was appointed by the General Assembly, 1778, ensign of militia. He was born in Exeter, where he died.
  Augustus Ellis, (1758-1836), served as a private and survived to receive a penson.
