  3. May have been born on 6 Apr 1793
  4. Died at the Ponca village near the present-day settlement of Niobrara, Knox, Nebraska. This village was on the west side of the Niobrara River and on the south side of the Missouri River. In 1846, Nebraska wasn't even a territory, but I'm listing her death/burial place as being in Nebraska. She is also buried near where she died.
(Other sources indicate that she died on 15 Feb 1846 in Bedford, Wayne, Michigan.)
  5. Text of her Patriarchal Blessing:

City of Joseph, October 6th 1846.

A blessing by John Smith, Patriarch, upon the head of Ann Boyes, daughter of Thomas and Ann Geldard, born in Yorkshire, England 5 April 1798.

Sister Ann I lay my hands upon your head, in my office as a Patriarch, in the name of Jesus Christ and seal upon you the blessings of a Father even all the blessings of the Holy Priesthood with all its blessings and privileges, in common with thy companion. Thou shall have faith to heal the sick and drive the destroyer far from thy habitations. Thou shall be blessed with peace, health and plenty and thy borders. Thou shall have the satisfaction of seeing many if not all thy friends in the Bonds of the New and Everlasting Covenant. Thou shall have an endowment with thy companion, all mysteries shall be revealed unto thee and have power given to thee to redeem thy father's house, back to where they died in the gospel. Thy family shall be very numerous, thou shall be exalted with them in due time to inherit a kingdom of glory and dominion that shall increase forever. Be patient sister and suffer not your faith to fail when in trouble and these words shall all be fulfilled for thou art of he House and lineage of the Joseph and Ephraim even so, Amen.

    J.L. Smith Scribe.
