Ann Foskett was baptised in November 1751 at Ridgmont in Bedfordshire, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Fosket.

On 4th May 1772, aged 20, Ann married Edward Lord in the neighbouring parish of Husborne Crawley. It seems likely that they had several children together; there were eight baptisms of children at Husborne Crawley with parents called Edward and Ann Lord between 1772 and 1792. However, there was another couple called Edward and Ann Lord (probably Ann's husband's parents) who had been having children at Husborne Crawley earlier too - it is possible that some of the children baptised after 1772 could have belonged to the older couple.

Edward died in 1798.

The following year Ann married again. Her second husband was William Cook, a widower. They did not have any further children.

Ann died in 1818, aged 66. She was buried at Husborne Crawley on 12th November 1818. William survived her by nearly nine years.
