Inscription on the tombstone of Ann Ferrand Waddington "Close by her beloved husband are deposited the remains of Ann Waddington, who died, 25th Nov. 1806 at 90. Her nine surviving children here testify with sorrowing hearts, that no attention however dutiful, no gratitude however ardent, could requite the kindness of such a mother".
