Oswego Palladium-Times, 27 Oct 1952: RICARD-- Harvey Spink has returned home from Whitesboro where he has spent some time with his daughter, Mrs. Andy York, while Mr. York was in a Utica hospital where he underwent a major operation. Latest reports are that he is improving.

Utica Daily Press, 1 Dec 1959: ANDREW L. YORK Whitesboro-- Andrew L. York, 53, of 21 Westmoreland St., custodian of the Main St. School of the Whitesboro Central School system since 1946, died yesterday in St. Luke's-Memprial Hospital Center after a brief illness. He was born in Redfield, May 25, 1906, son of Andrew E. and Jessie Hayes York. He attended Redfield school. On Aug. 20, 1932, he married Gladys Spink of Altmar. Since 1932, he had lived in Whitesboro. He attended Whitesboro Presbyterian Church and was a member of the N.Y.S. Civil Service Employes Association. He leaves his wife; a son, Harvey of Whitesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Mitchell Laramie of Utica; Mrs. Leland Curry of Redfield; two brothers, William York of Utica, Charles York of Flint, Mich.; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be... Thursday from the Dimbleby Funeral Home, Main at Brainerd St., with the Rev. Allan M. Baldwin, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Oswego Palladium-Times, 22 Dec 1959: RICARD-- ...attended the funeral services of Andrew York. Burial was in Evergreen [!] Cemetery, Williamstown. Mrs. York is the former Miss Gladys Spink, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Spink and sister of Adan Spink. He also leaves a son, Harvey, besides several relatives in Redfield.
