COLBY. 1870 Census: 1880 Census: 1900 Census: OWEN CEMETERY in SOLGOHACHIA Several members of my family on my mother's side are buried in Owen Cemetery in Solgohachia, Conway, Arkansas. This cemetery was said to be on the family farm, which apparently was acquired by my 2nd great grandfather Andrew Jefferson Owen (born New York in 1840) sometime around 1900. The first person I know of to be buried there was his son, my great grandfather Eugene F. Owen in 1901. Andrew himself died and was buried there in 1904. His wife Mahetable was buried there in 1918, son Thomas in 1930, several infants and children who died young were buried there in the early 1900s. "Üncle" Ernest (as I knew him, he was my grandfather's brother)--Ernest Lionel Owen--with wife Agnes Youngblood and their 5 children moved back to the farm from Michigan in the 1930s. Ernest, Agnes and daughter Delores are all buried in that "Owen Cemetery". Would appreciate any information anyone might have on it.
