    "...The deceased was born in Vinton County, Ohio, Feb 8,1814. His parents, James and Jane Morrow, emigrated from Greenbrier county, VA to Vinton County,Ohio in 1810. On Sept 27, 1835, Mr. Morrow was married to Sarah Dill, who survives him. The fruits of this union were sixteen children, fourteen boys and two girls. Nine of the children are now living; their names and residences as follows: Geo. Morrow, Pacific Junction,IA, Allen Morrow, Malvern,IA, Rozzell (sic) and Wm. Morrow, Murray, Neb., Mrs. Catharine Davis, Whiting,Ia., Benjamin Morrow, in Idaho, Harry (sic) and Samuel Morrow, in SD, and Clinton Morrow, of this place. Shortly after his marriage, Mr. Morrow and wife moved from Vinton county to Jackson County, Ohio, about six miles west of the town of Jackson. After residing there several years the moved to Poke (sic-probably Pike) county, residing there until 1857 when they moved to Iowa and settled in Page county. In 1860 they moved to Mills county,IA and in 1868 moved to Cass county,Neb. After a few years residence in Nebraska, they moved to this county (Harrison) and has since resided here, the last ten years having lived in Modale.
    Mr. Morrow and wife were married and lived together nearly sixty years, raising a large family and seeing them reach manhood and womanhood. Five of their son turned out to defend their countrie's flag during the late rebellion. They were George and William who served in the Fifteenth Iowa Infantry. Amos in the Fourth Iowa Battery and John and Thomas in the Twenty-ninth Iowa Infantry.
    The funeral occurred Tuesday at 10 am front the Union church, the sermon being preached by Elder Harris of the Christian church, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Calhoun.
    The relatives from abroad in attendance to the funeral were William Morrow and wife and Rozzel Morrow, wife and daughter, Mr Chriswisser and wife, Rachel Calvin and S.M. Davis, of Murray, Neb., Andy Dill of Plattsmouth, Neb., Geo. Morrow, Pacific Junction, Ia., Allen Morrow and son, Frank, Malvern, Ia. and T.G. Davis."

    p. 625 Lyons Township
    ANDREW MORROW, born February 8, 1814, in Athens county, Ohio. He went to Jackson county when quite young where he grew to maturity, and received his education in the pioneer subscription schools of that county, and, as Mr. Morrow expresses it, "sitting straddle of a split log." In 1851 he went to Pike county and in 1857 to Page county, Iowa, remaining there four years and then came to Mills county. He remained in this county until 1870 and they went to Cass county, Nebraska. In 1874 he moved to Harrison county, Iowa, where he now resides. Was married in 1836 to Sarah Dill of Jackson county, Ohio. Fifteen children were born to them: George, William, Catharine, John, Thomas, Clinton, Rozelle, Henry, Jane, Benjamin, Alexander, Samuel, Andrew and Amos.

    According to bio on son Rozzel, Andrew and Sarah left Cass County in the spring of 1873 and settled in Harrison Co.In 1883, Andrew retired as a farmer and became a land speculator and money lender.
