DEATH: Andrew McIntyre Buried Saturday

  Andrew M. McIntyre, on of Juneau county's prominent citizens, died at his home in the town of Lindina, Wednesday afternoon, March 13, 1940, about 1:00 o'clock, at the age of 82 years and 1 day. He had been in poor health the past four and one-half years.
  Andrew M. McIntyre was born March 12, 1858, on the old McIntyre homestead in Lindina. He grew up here and had been a resident of this community all his life. He was the last survivor of the original McIntyre family, who were among the pioneer settlers here. In his younger days Mr. McIntyre was engaged as a stock buyer and was also agent agent for the Osborne Machinery Co.
  Mr. McIntyre was united in marriage in this city in 1870 to Esther Knight, who preceded him in death 11 years later. Four children were to this union, Chet McIntyre of Tacoma, Wash.,Don McIntyre of Glendive, Mont., Vernice (Mrs. S. C. Stewart) and Maude McIntyre, both of Toledo, Ohio, all of whom survive.
  On Oct. 8, 1895, he was united in marriage to Julia G. Scanlon at Lyndon Station. Seven children were born to this union. Three sons and one daughter dying in infancy. His wife and three daughters, Kathryn (Mrs. Charles C. Remington) and Helen, of this city, and Antoinette (Mrs. William Tremain) of Milwaukee, survive.
  One brother, John McIntyre, preceded him in death during the Civil War, and his other brother, Nealy McIntyre, died in 1918. Two sisters, Mrs. Thos. Tate of Reedsburg and Mrs. John Nelson of Readstown also preceded him in death.
