Andrew Jensen was born in September in 1870 in Denmark. He came to the United States in 1889 with his father, Ole Jensen. They may have traveled alone or with Peter Rasmussen and his family. According to Hansine's diary they left Denmark for the United States on April 10, 1892, but according to the 1900 Nebraska census they came in 1889.

Andrew's father, Ole Jensen, was the 1/2 brother of Kirsten Mortensen. His mother was Karen Olsdatter and his father was probobly a relation to Fanny Saaby Olsen, but I have only a few Danish letters and no real proof of any kind.

In 1900 Ole Jensen and His son, Andrew Jensen, lived in Creston, Platt County, Nebraska. They lived in dwelling # 184 and were family # 185. Ole rented a farm (#130 on farm schedule). He stated that he came to the United States in 1889 and that he was a naturalized citizen. He and Andrew gave their occupations as farmers. Ole stated that his birthday was February 1843 and that he was 57 years old. Andrew was said to be born in September 1870 in Denmark and he was 29 years old.

It is believed that Andrew Jensen Died in Alberta, Canada in about 1960, and that he had no children.
