    Andrew Gamble, the second child of Josias and Ann Gamble, was commissioned an ensign in the Blount Co Militia in 1796. He married Elizabeth Davidson Apr 23, 1799, daughter of William Davidson, who died in Blount Co, TN in 1818, leaving a will.
