Andrew Farley Jr., as "Uncle Andy," married Judith Cooper of Jumping Branch District and settled on a farm on the head waters of Tom's Run of 110 ten acres issued to him by James Johnson, Governor of Virginia. By the Patent dated Oct. 21, 1851.

This family includes one son, Oscar Jordan, who is the great great grandfather of William Lee Cole.
