HOMICIDE.—We are pained to learn that Mr. A. J. Fain, of Hendersonville, was killed in that place last week, by Dr. E. R. Jones. He was stabbed in the region of the heart, as we understand, and died instantly. Of the origin and nature of the difficulty, we have no authentic information. Mr. Fain was an exemplary citizen, and left a young and helpless family. Dr. Jones was committed to prison to await a legal investigation.
