FORT WORTH - Andrew Leonard Bradford Jr., 88, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at a Waco health care facility.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth.
Andrew Leonard Bradford Jr. was born July 17, 1912, in Ranger. He was the son of Dr. Andrew Leonard Bradford and Margaret Bradford. The family lived in Seagraves when he was a child and he attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. During World War II he served as a flight instructor for the Army Air Forces. He married Ruby Mae Schroeder in 1935 and they made their home in Fort Worth where Mr. Bradford managed a downtown Fort Worth business, Duncan & Co., for over 30 years. Both husband and wife were longtime members of Sagamore Hill Baptist Church. In 1995, they moved to Lake Whitney to enjoy the lake and the area in which they had spent many years camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Survivors: Brother, Marshall Bradford of Arroyo, Calif.; daughters, Carol Nicks of Whitney and Betty Wilson and her husband, Raymond D. Wilson, of Whitney; grandson, Raymond D. Wilson Jr. and wife, Lisa Gall Wilson, of Tolar; and great-grandchildren, Nicole Lynn Wilson and Justin Dale Wilson of Tolar.
