From BenHarry Andreas Herre and his mother Anna Maria Luipoldin, although no birth ordeath dates for them. Martin's (whose name I found to be Johann Martin Herre) father and mother were Simon David Herre born Nov. 12, 1695 and died Jan. 18, 1774 married Lucia Haag on June 12, 1719. Lucia was born on Aug. 20, 1699 and died Feb. 11, 1767. Johann Martin was the eldest of 10 children although it look liked two died at birth. Simon David Herre was a farmer, mgistrate, tax collector, and weaver. Lucia's father and mother were Hans Haag, a school teacher, andAgnes Bizerin.

Johann Martin Harry was born in Zillhausen, Schwarzwaldkries,Wuerttemberg, Germay. This is in the Black Forest and if you look on maps in the web, Zillhausen, is a section of Balingen. One of these days I will go visit.
