    HOLCOMB, Amos, s. Nathaniell, 3rd, b. June 1, 1732

  3. as a private in the American Revolution enlisting first 11 August 1777 in Capt. Prior's company, Col. Samuel Canfield's regiment of Windsor; discharged 9 January 1778. He next enlisted in Capt. Judd's company 2 May 1778; discharged 31 Dec 1778. He also served with Cols. Bradley and Canfield at West Point, New York, September 1781.
