According to his wife’s obit, the family lived in Illinois until Feb. of 1882 when they moved to Nebraska and settled in Dodge County. Two years later, Mr. Crow died and was buried at Glencoe Cemetary. Amos served in the 102nd Illinois Infantry, Company A as a private and gave N. Henderson, Illinois as his hometown. He enlisted on 8/6/1862 and mustered out as a Corporal on 6/2/1865. (Civil War Pension records from NARA--found this summary on a website)/ References
