Marriage information has her name as Louvenia A. Gibbs. Obituary: Mrs. Louvenia Womack, 79, Dies at Carthage Carthage, Mo., Oct. 30 -- Mrs. Louvenia Gibbs Womack, 79 years old, a resident of Carthage 13 years, died at 10:45 o'clock this morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Harris, 1178 South Main street, where she had been the last month. Mrs. Womack was born in 1861 in Tennessee. At the age of 14 she moved to Coatsburg, Ill., where she completed her education. While on a visit to Greenfield, Mo., she was married to T.M. Shirron, a young medical student who later entered the ministry. In 1912 Mrs. Shirron was married to G.P. Womack of Lockney, Tex., and they went there to live. After his death she came to Carthage to make her home. She was a lifelong member of the South Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J.L. Means (Beaulah) of Amarillo, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Frances Ertel of Coatsburg, Ill.; two grandchildren, Harold Christman of Carthage and Mrs. Loren Jones of Amarillo, and three great-grandchildren.
