    At the home of her son, M. G. Burdick, near Farina, Ill., August 25, 1898, Mrs. Amelia Vincent Burdick, Widow of the late Russell W. Burdick, aged 76 years and 3 months.
    She was born May 31, 1822, in the town of Almond, Allegany County, N. Y., and was the next oldest of sixteen children of David and Freegift Vincent. She accepted Christ in her youth, and united with the First Seventh-day Baptist church of Alfred. In 1848 she was married to Russell W. Burdick, and lived in the vicinity of Alfred until they moved to Farina 1865. Here she and her husband became constituent members of the Farina church, which was organized the next year, and of which she remained a worthy member until her death. Her husband died in 1891.
