Probably Amelia Purdy

Amelia (maiden name not proven, but might be PURDY) was the wife of Caleb WRIGHT, as named in his Will of 1819, proved in Tioga Co., New York.

No marriage record for Caleb and Amelia has been found. She may not have been his first wife, and therefore might not be the mother of the children named in Caleb’s Will. A Will written by Nathaniel UNDERHILL in 1783 names a neice “Amelia WRIGHT, daughter of Obadiah PURDY”, who in turn was married to Phebe UNDERHILL, sister of Nathaniel. The Will was written and proved in Westchester Co., New York, where other WRIGHT families lived, including a Thomas WRIGHT - one candidate for Caleb’s father.

Note: IT IS NOT PROVEN that Amelia, wife of Caleb WRIGHT, was the same Amelia WRIGHT, daughter of Obadiah PURDY. It is an educated guess that fits names, locations and time period.

According to Dickerson ROGERS, who married Sarah/Sally PRESHER, a daughter of William PRESHER and Anna WRIGHT, Ann was a daughter of Caleb and Amelia WRIGHT who pre-deceased Caleb WRIGHT Sr.,
