Lived in Mansfield, CT. Called Capt. 27 days service at Lexington alarm. RCfw [Rolls of CT men in Fr.& Ind.War(Hartford CT Hist Soc 1905)] pp 169,173. In muster roll of Fourth Regiment under Col. Er.Fitch, Ninth Co. Capt.Zebulon Butler (of Lyme) 2 May 1759 Amariah Williams is named. (In Adams Papers at CT State Library). In a "list of Men not joined" signed by Col Er.Fitch, Amariah Williams of Mansfield, from Capt.Butler's company, was not present at Lake George 30 June 1759. References
