CARPENTER, Amanda, age 72, of Route 1, Sedro-Woolley, passed away in a local hospital, Monday, March 25, (1946). Surviving relatives are two sons, Dr. W. Harvey and John O., of Bellingham; two daughters, Mrs. P. W. Major, of Sedro-Woolley, and Mrs. Wesley Nutter, of Bellingham; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Foster, of Bellingham, and Mrs. George Ortwein, of Maple Falls, Wash. The remains are at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. C. Elroy Shikles, Wednesday, March 27, at 1:30 p.m. Final resting place, Bay View.
