MATTHEW HARBISON EWING was born August 21, 1828. He married Elizabeth Cochrane October 1st, 1857. They resided for many years at Jacksonville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. In later years the family home has been Saltsburg, Pennsylvania. His death occurred May 1st, 1905. Their children are as follows.
