    1958 - Mrs. Alvena DeLong, 84, 444 N. 10th St., Allentown, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she was admitted last Wednesday. Born in Lynn Township, a daughter of the late Elias and Fianna Reitz Philips, she was a dressmaker in Allentown at one time. Surviving are three brothers, Osville and William Philips, both of Allentown, and Thomas Philips, Emerald, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Rickert, Allentown. Her husband, Lewis O. DeLong, and a son, Earl, preceded her in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown.
