Research Notes

  • Alphonsus was only 4 months old when his mother died in April of 1848 and he died 4 months after that.
  • UPDATE: St. James Church death records show he died on 25 August 1848. The cause only says "infantile" [Sketchdon]
  • A burial record with the rest of the family at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery has not been found.
