    She filed an application for Civil War Pension, Number 296,547 on September 9, 1882 with Certificate Number: 239,635 for pension based on son Walters death in the Civil War, she received first a $8.00 then a $12.00 a month Civil War pension from 1882 until her death.
    Almira death records show her dying in 1902 of a cold and old age.
    A publication list her arriving in Lindina Sept. 3, 1854. Her husband and sons going in 1853 to clear land and build a house, most likely she stayed in Columbus until her baby Augusta was 9 Months old and homestead started.
