"Old Mrs. Ostrander died on Friday last at the age of 70 years. She was born in Canada near Niagra and came to Michigan about 26 years ago. She has been almost blind for some time and death to her was a welcome guest. Her husband died six years ago and since that time she has lived with her daughters, Mrs. John Dorling (Dorland) and Jrs. John Jeffrey. The funeral was at the home of Mrs. Jerrery's where she was at the time of her death. Rev. Desjardin officiating." _FOOT:
