Mrs. Alma Dotter, aged 25, well known and highly respected resident, died, in Mercy hospital Thursday night, shortly before midnight, following an operation for appendicitis. Mrs. Dotter was born and reared in Ashley and had many friends here. She leaves her husband, Arthur Dotter, and one daughter, Eva; also the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Robert McMyrtle, of Scranton; Mrs. William Orr, of New York City; Jerry Sliker and father, Charles Sliker. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon with services at the home, 22 North Main street. Rev. M. Hunter Reid, pastor of the Methodist church will officiate and interment will be made in Maple Hill cemetery.
