Obituaries

 ALLEN J. RUPRIGHT committed suicide in Salem about noon Tuesday by shooting himself through the heart using a 32-calibre revolver.  The deed was committed in the presence of his wife who was in the kitchen washing their three-year-old son.  Mr. Rupright had become despondent by reason of ill health caused by epilepsy, from which he had suffered for several years.  The deceased was a son of William and Mary Rupright and was born in Cornersburg 29 years sgo.  He was married to Miss Frances Gibbons of Loveland nine years ago Tuesday, the day of his death.  The couple resided in Cornersburg until two years since when they removed to Salem.  He was a man of good habits and his wife says their married life was a happy one.  After locating in Salem he was employed at the Deming and Silver shops, but for a few weeks had had no regular employment.  Besides his wife and child he leaves and aged mother, a brother, George, and a sister, Mrs. Betsey Schisler, of Cornersburg.  Funeral services were held in the Cornersburg church on Thursday at 12:30 o'clock.  Burial in cemetery near the church.
CORNERSBURG--A large concourse of relatives and friends attended the funeral services of Allen Rupright held in the Lutheran Church last Thursday.  Rev. George Englar of Youngstown conducted the services.
