Mexico Independent, 9 Mar 1933: ALLEN CRONK SERIOUSLY INJURED Allen Cronk, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. William Cronk of this village [New Haven] who was seriously injured early Monday morning when his automobile crashed into a telephone pole... on the state road west of New Haven, remains in a critical condition at the Oswego hospital. Passing motorists found Mr. Cronk about 2:00 a.m. unconscious near his wrecked car and carried him to the office of Dr. Earle A. Mowry of Mexico for first aid... He is suffering from a fracture of both bones of the left forearm, broken ribs and a possible fracture of the skull. Mr. Cronk is an employee of the Mexico plant of the Dairymen's League.

Oswego Palladium-Times, 4 May 1978: ALLEN J. CRONK Mexico-- Allen J. Cronk, 68, who was stricken ill at his Demster Beach Road home in Town of New Haven Wednesday, was pronounced dead on arrival at Oswego Hospital. He has been in poor health several years. Born Feb. 7, 1910 in New Haven, son of William and Laura Barbo Cronk, he was a life resident of the area and a retired carpenter. He had worked for Sealright Corp., Fulton, and Sectional Structures, Inc., Oswego, before retiring in 1972. In 1933 he married the former Nettie Looker. He was a retired member of the New Haven Volunteer Fire Department and member and present trustee of the New Haven Congregational Church. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Richard, New Haven; five grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Cronk, New Haven, and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Goodman, Oswego and Mrs. Doris Kerwin, Palata FL. Services will be... Saturday at the Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home here, the Rev. G. William Hart of the New Haven Congregational Church officiating. Burial...
