He married in 1675-6, Alice --------, and after his death she married Sergeant John Hawks on November 20, 1696. She was killed at Deerfield on February 29, 1703-4, during the attack by the French and Indians, at the time that her son Samuel was killed and two of her daughters (Mary and perhaps Rebecca) was captured.
