    The Rachel Freeborne deposition stated that about 56 years ago Alice Skinner had come to Maryland, and within a year married Henry Ridgley of Anne Arundel County.

    They had an only son Charles, who according to the deposition of Elizabeth Ridgley, widow of William Ridgley was born about 4 years after the marriage.
