Rome Sentinel, 23 Feb 2001: Alice Kemp Roser, 92, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2001 at her sister's home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Born April 12, 1908 in Vienna, NY, daughter of Richard and Gladys Wheeler Wood, she married Elmer E. Kemp in 1923 and resided in McConnellsville, NY. Mr. Kemp died August 1965. She later married Wilfred Roser of Altmar in October 1966 and resided in Vienna until Mr. Roser passed away in September 1991. Mrs. Roser then moved to Florida to live with her sister, Doris (Mrs. Milton) Wendt, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Roser had been in ill health for several years.

Stuart (FL) News, 28 Feb 2001: ALICE ROSER Port St. Lucie-- Alice Roser of Port St. Lucie died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001. She was a longtime resident of Vienna, N.Y., and move to Port St. Lucie in 1991. She was of the Methodist faith. She was predeceased by her first husband of 42 years, Elmer Kemp, in 1965 and her second husband of 25 years, Wilfred Roser, in 1991. Survivors include a sister, Doris Wendt of Port St. Lucie; a daughter, Helen Downs; two stepsons, Richard Roser of Altmar, N.Y., and Ronald Roser of Rome, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Carol Valvo of Sarasota; and one grandchild. A service was Monday, Feb. 26, in Camden, N.Y.
