Uxbridge VRs, p. 261 and 334, show a marriage between "Alice Holebrook" and "Elijah Ward" on 16 Sep 1762. It seems possible that this record might refer to this Alice Holbrook. Elijah Ward of Uxbridge m. (1) Hannah (Torrey) Reed, widow of Ebenezer Reed, and had six children from 1750-1759. There is no record of the death of his wife Hannah and there is nothing suggesting or contradicting such a subsequent marriage in Source:Martyn, Charles. William Ward Genealogy, p. 113, or Source:Torrey, Frederic C. Torrey Families and Their Children in America, p. 1:108.
