Alice Ann was usually known as Lucinda. On one daughter's marriage register her name is shown as Alice. On another daughter's death certificate it shows Lucinda. On her own marriage record it shows Alice.

Depending on which son's death certificate you view, her last name is spelled in a variety of ways: Hare, Hair, and Haire.

The 1880 census shows her birth state as PA, as does her marriage record.

She died before 1900 as that census shows her husband living with the Leap family and widowed. Lucinda is buried in the Cain Cemetery in Wirt, WV.

Little else is known about her. On a photo with her husband, she looks like a competent woman.
