Yet to gain further facts. Spent younger years in Chelsey (born there?), and Beare (between/Cullumpton and Broadclist), brought her daugter up in Dogs Village (broadclist) and Exeter. Will amend with facts. Remember telling me how if she'd want something, she'd have to walk from Beare to Broadclist, a reasonable distance. On leaving after visiting, we would say wed look forward to seeing her next time 'I will be lucky to be still alive then' she'd say, through out my childhood, to aged 15, and had been doing so prior to my father marrying! Lots of old family photos some from 1800s came from her flat, she wanted them thrown on moving to a care home in her late 80s/early 90s. My early memories of her managing independently (abet support from her daughter, and perhaps home help?) despite having very poor vision in old age.
