    Death of Mrs Will McDowell

    "On last Thursday, July 10th, news came that Mrs Will McDowell had passed away. For several months Mrs. McDowell had been in declining health...A few weeks ago she went to Jackson, Tenn., to visit a sister where she was taken sick...In spite of the tenderest care and labors of skilled physicians and nurses, she constantly grew worse until Wednesday, when the final collapse came and acute Brights set up, which carried her away in a few hours.

    Mrs. McDowell...was a pleasant, genial and loveable lady. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. The funeral service was conducted Friday afternoon from the home of Mr. M. Sadler by Rev. JF Eldins, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, assisted by other pastors.

    Mr. McDowell and friends have the sympathy of the whole town in this sorrow."
