Alice Ainscough was born in Horwich in 1911 and was the daughter of George Ainscough (1870) and Mary Ellen Winward. She married George Robert Maxwell on 10th November 1947, Cliff Webster on 7th September 1971 and Harold Platts on 25th October 1983. Alice died in Horwich on 27th March 2005, aged 93.
